Backflow Prevention Device Testing

To comply with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Moffat WSC customers are required to have a backflow prevention assembly installed on any irrigation system where there is an on-site sewage facility (OSSF/septic system). Most backflow prevention assemblies are required to be tested on an annual basis and must be done by a person holding a Backflow Prevention Assembly (BPAT) license. Listed here are the licensed vendors known to us who service the Moffat WSC area. All inspection reports must be submitted online to Backflow Solutions, Inc. at www.bsionline.com.

MOFFAT WATER SUPPLY CUSTOMERS:

 

As part of our efforts to ensure that the drinking water we supply is the highest quality possible, Moffat Water Supply Corporation will temporarily convert the disinfectant used in the distribution system from chloramine to free chlorine on Monday, April 1st, 2025. The treatment will be in effect for approximately four (4) weeks until Tuesday, April 30th, 2025. During this period, you may experience taste and odor changes associated with this type of temporary disinfectant conversion. The water will remain safe to drink, to use for cooking, to bathe in and for other everyday uses.
